Our Mission

“Sincerely in Song’s mission is to "Uplift, support, and amplify non-profit causes and movements that better our world with our songs, voices, and likeness of our brand."

Sarah Fierek - Visionary & Founder

My Story

Singing, writing, and recording started at the young age of three for me. My mother gave me a boombox. Blank tapes and a microphone and off to the world of creativity I went. When they say to listen to your inner child to find your purpose, I am a testament to that.

Having spent over thirteen years building and scaling a non-profit radio station, I understand the importance of community building, amplifying one's voice and aligning your passion with a mission and vision bigger than oneself.

I'm thrilled to announce that I've come home to a big part of myself and I'm excited to share with you what we are building. Music with a mission.

Thank you for being part of the journey! After all, "The journey is always the prize" S. Fierek

Angie's Why for Uplifting Advocates of Ozaukee

In Angie's Words

Why Advocates of Ozaukee?

When I graduated from high school, I was all set to begin my dream of becoming a female composer and singer.  For my graduation ceremony, I performed a song that I wrote and recorded with my full music scholarship in hand.  Two weeks after I graduated, I was violently assaulted by someone who will remain anonymous.  I was sharing a new song that I had written when the attack happened.  That event had a profound impact on the remainder of my adult experience.

Just like some war veterans do not like to discuss the details of their experiences, victims of abuse often hold their trauma stories inside.  I have always turned to music, literature and the arts to voice my feelings. I can write, dance and sing my emotions. However, being at ease in social situations has always been a struggle for me. Some of the tragedies that I have faced in my lifetime have left embarrassing scars.  They also gave me a lot of empathy toward others in all kinds of situations and have been the fuel behind most of my songs.

When my father died in 2025, I knew that I needed to take my first love of songwriting more seriously. I discovered that he not only had a live recording of my graduation debut, but he saved cassette demos of songs that I had sent him over the years and even framed lyrics that I wrote above his desk with a photo of Neil Diamond smack dab in the center.  After spending most of my adult life serving others to help them achieve their dreams, I knew that it was time to begin fostering mine.

Sarah Fierek and I met just prior to the 1st annual Wildflowers on the Water event that she founded in Milwaukee.  I was blown away by her level of care, not only toward me but other creatives as well.  Seeing how gracefully she maneuvered events, worked with musicians and listened to all kinds of people was truly inspiring.  She is a strong leader with a loving heart.  I have also had the honor of backing her up as a keyboard player and being brought to healing tears by her music, especially “You Belong” and “Code Blue”.

Sarah introduced me to Chris Crain as well as shared some of her practical experiences as a songwriter.  The original plan wasn’t to record an EP but the culmination of several factors made it clear to me that it was time.  When the project was finished, Chris mentioned doing an EP Release Party at a small venue. However, instinct told me that we needed something bigger.  When that door opened up, I asked Sarah if she wanted to be a part of it.  She asked me if there was a nonprofit that I would like for the event to benefit.  Without hesitation I mentioned Advocates of Ozaukee.

Each song on the album has many different levels and meanings.  Very rarely do I write in a literal one dimensional vein. Saying that, She Sings is about using the arts to cope with verbal abuse.  Proof is in the Puddin' is about recognizing red flags in relationships.  Wildflower is about loving yourself even when nobody else seems to.  Revolutionary is about being brave even when people don't understand your journey.  Raggedy Angie is about grief and complicated relationships.  It’s Good to Be Home (the bonus track that I recorded prior to the EP) is about finding healing in spirituality.

In the past few years that I have known Sarah, she has introduced me to what I love to call, “My people”!  I have met so many beautiful people particularly in the Milwaukee area who have shown me nothing but love.  I had no idea that Milwaukee had so many beautiful creatives even though I’m “just up the road” in Grafton.  Thank you Sarah for letting me be on your journey these past few years.  I have most certainly enjoyed it!  Love, Angie Mack Creative 2.10.26
